CASE SUPERIVSION WORKSHOP:
FINDING WISDOM IN OUTER AND INNER DIVERSITY

25 April 2016 - 10 am till 6 pm

In our communities, our organizations, and within each of us, there is amazing diversity. How do we get along with this outer and inner diversity? How do we help our clients deal with the inevitable inner and outer conflicts that arise from such diversity?
One answer is to focus on what is actually in front of us and inside us. Processwork offers powerful tools that help us to precisely notice what is happening. This allows us to sort through the chaos of information and discover background patterns.

Another answer is to practice empathy, to know that "I am You." This "You" may be inside or outside us, and may feel threatening, disturbing or even fascinating. Processwork gives us powerful methods for stepping into the "other." This deeper empathy is a shift of identity that points us toward wholeness and helps us deal with difficulties more fluidly and authentically.

In this workshop we will use your cases to learn how Processwork practices focus and empathy. A combination of supervision, theory, inner work, and work in pairs will help us discover wisdom in the problems presented by our clients. We will also value and unfold the diversity within the facilitator, mediator, or therapist. Whether you work with individuals, relationships, organizations or communities, this workshop will help you discover the beauty in your own inner diversity and the beauty of the diversity that you face every day in your work.
